Freestyle: The World of Inkjet Paper - The Print Matters!
Featuring Freestyle VP Eric Joseph's Personal Collection of Over 140 Photographs

Description:

Showing over 140 individual photographs from his personal collection, Eric Joseph, Sr. Vice President of Freestyle Photographic Supplies, will discuss the technical points and aesthetic differences of every inkjet paper available for the following brands: Arist-II, Arist Americana Collection Inkjet Fabric, Awagami, Canson, Hahnemuhle, Harman by Hahnemuhle, Ilford, In-nova, Moab and Museo. Participants will gain insight into the technical aspects, myths and mysteries of digital printing through both the lecture and interactive participation. Learn how to turn ordinary images into extraordinary prints!

Mark Seliger has photographed some of the most relevant cultural and political figures of our times, including Kurt Cobain, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jay Z, Malala Yousafzai and President Barack Obama. He has worked for Rolling Stone, Vanity Fair, Details, Italian Vogue, German Vogue, L'uomo Vogue and Harper's Bazaar. Seliger discusses his work and the evolution of portrait photography. This program is in conjunction with ASMP-DC during FotoWeek DC.
